Opportunity

We’re looking for a highly organised and customer‑focused professional to coordinate all aspects of event delivery, ensuring every detail is captured accurately and communicated through timely, comprehensive function sheets. In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating exceptional client experiences while supporting the achievement of annual sales targets through building strong client relationships, encouraging repeat business, and proactively identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating all event details and producing accurate function sheets to ensure every event exceeds client expectations.
  • Managing client requirements including timings, catering, dietary needs, signage, AV, décor, entertainment, and supplier liaison.
  • Supporting the sales team with client show‑rounds and helping convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Building strong client relationships through proactive communication, post‑event follow‑ups, and identifying repeat business opportunities.
  • Driving revenue growth by supporting upselling and cross‑selling initiatives across events and hospitality services.
  • Meeting and greeting clients on event days to ensure a seamless and high‑quality customer experience.
  • Maintaining accurate event records, contracts, booking systems, and health & safety documentation.
  • Working closely with operational, marketing, hospitality, and commercial teams to ensure effective event delivery and communication.
  • Managing internal meeting requests and providing operational support across wider venue and stadium events when required.
  • Handling client feedback and complaints professionally while continually looking for ways to improve service standards and event delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least two years’ experience in event coordination and sales within the conference and events industry.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and client experiences.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines, and coordinate events of varying sizes simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to build strong client relationships.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with confidence in engaging prospective clients, agents, and venues.
  • Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; experience using Delphi would be an advantage.
  • A team‑focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and days, particularly during busy cricket and concert seasons.
