As one of the most successful and recognisable clubs in world cricket, Yorkshire holds a unique place in the sport’s history. Through Chasing Glory: 2026–2036, Yorkshire is entering an exciting new era — a long‑term strategy focused on returning the Club to the top of the game, strengthening our connection with communities across the county, re‑energising Headingley, and building a Club that can thrive for generations to come.

We are looking for an experienced high‑performance coach who specialises in bowling to join our coaching team and work with our elite players across our Tier 1 professional squad. Reporting to the Head Coach and working closely with our other coaches, this role will proactively support the development of the culture and environment of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club women’s team, support the implementation of the high‑performance strategy, and contribute towards sustainable success aligned to the Club’s vision, mission statement and values.

  • Assisting in the development and communication of match‑day tactical leadership to all players, including the sourcing of key information on opponents and players to develop team plans and strategies.
  • Supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of individual development programmes for players.
  • Proactively assisting the creation of an environment in which players prepare and perform to the highest standard of professional cricket, both on‑and‑off the pitch.

We are looking for people who meet the below criteria:

  • Minimum ECB Level 3 coaching qualification or equivalent, or have obtained their Level 2 and are willing to work towards Level 3.
  • Demonstrable success as a cricket coach at a professional domestic or international level.
  • Demonstrable experience having developed elite‑level and aspiring elite‑level players over a sustained period of time.
  • Demonstrable experience and/or commitment to delivering the principles of the Club’s EDI strategy.

Working at Yorkshire Cricket, you will benefit from the following:

  • 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays, which increase based on years of service
  • Pension contributions
  • Yorkshire County Cricket Club membership
  • Access to employee assistance programmes
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Volunteering leave
  • Wellbeing and cultural leave
