The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing players physically for competition, supporting injury prevention strategies, and contributing to a professional and performance-driven culture.
Role Overview
The Performance Physiotherapy Intern will be responsible for leading and delivering structured pre-match preparation, including mobility, activation, and warm-up protocols. The role also involves assisting with individual player preparation based on medical history and performance needs, implementing “Readiness to Play” monitoring, and maintaining clear communication with coaching staff regarding player fitness and availability.

Candidate Profile
This opportunity is ideal for individuals currently studying or recently graduated in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or Sports Rehabilitation. The intern will be involved in a dynamic fixture list throughout the summer, alongside potential support at training sessions, including the Emerging Player Programme (EPP) held weekly in Reading.
