Community Programmes Manager – Job Summary

Help shape the future of community cricket! We're looking for an experienced Community Programmes Manager to lead a portfolio of funded programmes that break down barriers, increase participation and create lasting opportunities for people across Warwickshire and Birmingham.

Based at Edgbaston Stadium, you’ll oversee the delivery and growth of key community programmes including Wicketz, ACE, Chance to Shine Street and Dynamos Intros, lead a team of passionate staff and coaches, and manage key partnerships with organisations including the ECB, Chance to Shine, Lord’s Taverners and local authorities.

You’ll play a pivotal role in developing strategy, identifying new opportunities, managing programme budgets and ensuring our work delivers measurable impact in the communities we serve.

We’re looking for someone with experience of developing and managing community sport or physical activity programmes, strong leadership, budget and stakeholder management skills, a proven track record of delivering funded projects, measuring impact and achieving performance targets, and a genuine commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective partnerships, inspire others and lead high‑performing teams.
