DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Agency, are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Industrial Industry, in Bury, Manchester.
Our client is a trusted wholesale foodservice company, supplying education, healthcare and hospitality sectors to the North of England for over 60 years. Based in the Northwest, they are an award-winning, family-run wholesaler offering fresh, frozen & non-food products across the North. With ethical & sustainable sourcing, flexible delivery options and over 6,000 products available, they deliver to restaurants, cafes, hotels, bars and event caterers throughout Greater Manchester.
As a counterbalance driver you will assist in the timely and accurate preparing and loading of customers orders.
This role is a temporary to permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Driving and operating the FLT Counterbalance
- Moving of materials
- Checking loads are secure
- Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Following written instructions and keeping records
- Involved in other Warehouse aspects as well as the FLT
Requirements
- Must hold an up-to-date FLT Counterbalance Licence
- Previous FLT Counterbalance Experience is Essential
- FLT Reach Licence is an advantage
Hours
- Days β Monday to Friday β 10am to 6pm
- Nights β Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
