Salary
From £16.00 per hour (£37,440 per annum based on a 45 hour average week)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled collections and deliveries of waste and recycling materials safely and efficiently.
- Secure all loads in accordance with transport and environmental regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects or issues promptly.
- Accurately complete all required transport and waste documentation.
- Comply with health & safety procedures, ADR guidelines and company policies.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, maintaining strong relationships with clients and site staff.
- Support safe handling and transport of waste, including electricals, batteries or bulk liquids as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 points.
- ADR qualification (2 to 6 is ideal, not essential).
- A safety‑conscious approach and commitment to customer service.
