This role involves driving Class 1 lorries delivering supermarket and general haulage loads across South Wales and surrounding regions. Both days and nights available on any pattern to suit you, both full and part time. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Safely operating HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver supermarket and general haulage goods
- Loading and unloading stock at customer sites as required
- Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and paperwork is completed accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
- Following company and road safety regulations at all times
- Communicating effectively with the logistics team and customers to maintain smooth operations
- Supporting night or day deliveries depending on shift patterns
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence with CPC and Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- Proven experience in supermarket/general haulage deliveries preferred
- Good knowledge of the Bridgend area and surrounding routes
- Excellent time management and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
