About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Manager to lead specification growth across the UK’s stormwater sector. You will secure product specifications at design stage, influence key technical decisions, and help position Hydro’s industry-leading technologies across a wide range of infrastructure, residential and commercial projects. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role for someone who thrives on building relationships, presenting technical solutions, and driving strategic commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive specification sales plan for the UK stormwater sector.
- Secure specification positions by engaging designers, engineers, local authorities and major contractors.
- Build and maintain a strong project pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are tracked through CRM.
- Deliver CPD presentations to engineering and architectural practices.
- Represent Hydro at trade shows, seminars, exhibitions and key industry events.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to support accurate forecasting and project conversion.
- Work closely with technical, proposals and customer service teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Provide valuable insights on market needs, competitor activity and future opportunities.
Ensure all responsibilities comply with the Health and Safety regulations.
