About the Role
We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our existing UK Masonry sales team based in Sheffield, UK for an initial 6‑month period.
Main Responsibilities
- The purpose of this role is to build and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and profitability, encourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty by adding value to transactions, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Respond to questions and queries from customers and internal teams via telephone, e‑mail, video calling or face‑to‑face.
- Prepare quotations, liaising with Leviat external teams, technical teams and commercial management where required.
- Proactively follow up on quotations.
- Negotiate with customers to secure orders.
- Liaise with other departments pre‑ and post‑sale (including finance, operations, technical and design).
Key Competencies & Relevant Experience
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades A‑C.
- Enthusiastic person with a can‑do attitude able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Methodical, organised with ability to prioritise.
- Computer‑literate, especially with Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM.
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Able to manage and respond to multiple issues at once whilst meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Experience of working in a construction or manufacturing business.
- Proven track record of account management and converting quotes to orders.
- Able to read and understand drawings.
