Join our Success Factors programme team and play a pivotal role at the heart of a major transformation, ensuring a seamless transition from project delivery into business‑as‑usual operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Cutover Lead, you will take full ownership of the end‑to‑end cutover plan across Data, Technical, and Business workstreams, bringing structure, clarity, and control to a complex programme.
- You Will
- Lead the cutover strategy — establish the overall approach and project plans across all major streams
- Define cutover principles and secure stakeholder agreement
- Oversee detailed cutover plans across Data, Technical, and Business areas
- Develop comprehensive runbooks, checklists, and decision logs
- Map dependencies and identify critical path activities
- Establish a cutover governance framework with clear escalation routes
- Maintain the RAID log, tracking and mitigating risks
- Provide command and control during cutover entry, trials, and exit
- Build and maintain rollback and contingency plans
- Deliver evidence‑based Go/No‑Go recommendations
- Coordinate with BAU and Release Management to ensure environment readiness
- Validate readiness criteria ahead of live cutover
- Communicate regularly with senior stakeholders and technical leads
- Ensure appropriate resource allocation during cutover windows
- Work with business continuity teams to minimise operational disruption
- Facilitate cutover readiness forums and decision‑making sessions

- We’re Looking For
- Demonstrable experience leading complex IT or business transformation cutovers
- A highly successful project management background (Prince2, PMP, Agile or equivalent)
- Experience with cutover planning tools (Cutover. com, Service Now, MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Hands‑on experience with Success Factors
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead with command and control during critical periods
- Experience running cutover rehearsals and embedding lessons learned
- Understanding of data migration, technical infrastructure, and business change
- A significant risk and issue management capability
- Collaborative working style across diverse teams
- ITIL Foundation (desirable)
- Experience in construction, building materials, or related industries (desirable)
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP implementations
- Change management certification (Prosci, CMI) (desirable)
- Experience with Agile/Dev Ops environments
- Background in 24/7 operational settings
- Understanding of UK regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud migration and infrastructure cutovers
