We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hydrometry and monitoring team. The role involves visiting various sites, primarily undertaking field measurements of water quantity (flow), depth, quality, rainfall etc. Additionally, responsibilities include the installing, operating, and maintaining of telemetry logging equipment.
Essential:- A passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working in water, strong swimming skills
- Confidence in working at heights, such as using ladders, and ease in working within confined spaces
- Good level of computer literacy (MS Office applications – Word, Excel)
- Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant environmental field (e.g., Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, etc.)
- Demonstrates awareness of potential risks and safety protocols
- Experienced in hands-on tasks, including use of power and hand tools
- Willing to travel as required
- Possess a valid UK driver's license for 12 months +
- Full training is provided, therefore prior experience is not required provided you possess the essential skills listed above
- Experience with Hydrometric field data collection is beneficial but not essential
