Tarmac is embarking on one of its most significant transformation programmes, and we're looking for an exceptional Change, Communications & Training Lead to play a pivotal role in its success. As part of Project Falcon, you'll lead the people side of a major business transformation, delivering the change strategy for the implementation of a new order-to-dispatch system across the organisation. This is a high-profile opportunity to influence senior leaders, engage frontline teams, and ensure lasting adoption across multiple sites and business functions.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Change, Communications & Training Lead, you'll own the end-to-end change strategy and readiness approach for Project Falcon.

  • Developing and delivering the overall change strategy, roadmap and success measures
  • Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary Change Management team
  • Driving stakeholder engagement, sponsorship and resistance management strategies
  • Overseeing programme communications through dedicated communications specialists
  • Ensuring effective training design, delivery and adoption through the training function
  • Establishing business readiness frameworks and providing go/no-go recommendations to programme governance
  • Monitoring adoption metrics and implementing targeted interventions where needed
  • Managing change risks, dependencies, budgets and resource planning
  • Building strong relationships with senior leaders, operational teams and key stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting successful go-live, hypercare and transition into business-as-usual operations

What We're Looking For

You'll be a strategic thinker who can also roll up your sleeves and make things happen. We're looking for someone who combines strong leadership skills with practical transformation experience and can confidently influence stakeholders at all levels.

You'll Bring

  • Proven experience leading change management for large-scale technology or operational transformation programmes
  • Experience developing change strategies, governance frameworks, readiness assessments and adoption measures
  • Strong leadership experience across change, communications and training functions
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement, sponsor activation and resistance management
  • Experience managing programme risks, budgets, resources and dependencies
  • The ability to provide evidence-based readiness insights to senior governance groups
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills

Desirable Experience

  • Manufacturing, logistics, building materials or other operationally intensive industries
  • ERP-enabled transformation programmes
  • SAP or order-to-dispatch system implementations
  • Multi-site deployment and rollout environments

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
  • Change Management certification such as Prosci, APMG Change Management or CMI is highly desirable
