We’re looking for an experienced Network Manager to lead our Network Services, Operations and Delivery functions across a large, complex, multi‑country environment. This high‑impact leadership role is responsible for ensuring our network is stable, secure, resilient and future‑ready while driving major transformation initiatives across Europe. You’ll operate within a modern, partner‑enabled model – owning service performance, shaping strategy, governing operations, and managing key vendors and MSPs. With more than 33,000 users, 20+ countries, and a federated IT landscape, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on scale, complexity and meaningful change.
What You’ll Lead
- Lead and develop a team of ~7 network specialists across service, operations and delivery.
- Build a high‑performance culture focused on reliability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching, direction and subject‑matter leadership.
Service Ownership & Operational Governance
- Own end‑to‑end network services across WAN/SD‑WAN, LAN/WLAN, Firewalls, Remote Access and Public DNS.
- Oversee operational performance across internal teams and MSPs, ensuring SLAs, KPIs and ITIL processes are met.
- Ensure robust incident, problem, change and lifecycle management.
- Shape and execute the network strategy and roadmap, including Zero Trust, network simplification, cloud networking and secure access.
- Lead major transformation programmes and ensure alignment with architecture, cyber security and enterprise strategy.
- Manage strategic relationships with key vendors and MSPs.
- Lead governance forums, service reviews, escalations and performance reporting.
- Ensure partners meet compliance, security and service quality expectations.
Risk, Compliance & Security
- Ensure network services meet regulatory, compliance and audit requirements.
- Maintain strong asset and configuration management practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with IT Leadership, Architecture, Workplace, Data Centre & Cloud and Shared Services teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business units and operating companies.
- Communicate service health, risks and opportunities in clear, business‑focused language.
Project & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee planning, governance and delivery of network projects.
- Support key initiatives including Zero Trust pilots, asset management, refresh cycles and architectural transitions.

- Professional certifications (ITIL, Cisco, Azure, CompTIA+) are highly desirable.
- Fluent English; a second European language is a plus.
Experience & Education
- Degree or diploma in IT, business or a related field.
- Significant hands‑on technical experience in network operations.
- Significant leadership experience within network or infrastructure teams.
- Experience in construction materials or industrial manufacturing is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a federated, matrixed organisation.
