Job Description
Job Title: Quality & Compliance Associate (1 year fixed term Maternity Cover)
Hours: Full-time 37.50 hours per week
Location: CRGH All Sites
Accountable to: Head of Quality & Compliance
Qualifications: Suitably qualified and 2 years’ experience in a similar role or the fertility sector
Start Date: August 2025
General Responsibilities:
- Role Responsible for ensuring the policies, procedures, guidelines, infrastructures, systems and processes of the organisation meet and continue to meet the applicable statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- To keep abreast of the latest developments with regard to the HFEA, CQC, HSE, Data Protection, Home Office and any other relevant regulators, including updating CRGH management and the wider the team on any changes to legislation
- Assist in the preparation for inspections as required by our regulatory / certification bodies in all areas of business (including but not limited to the HFEA, CQC, ICO, HMO, ISO) and act as CRGH compliance lead during these inspections.
- Working closely with the Quality and Compliance and Supporting the Quality team at CRGH
- Managing the document control process to ensure changes to processes and systems are appropriately addressed and implemented.
- Performing internal audits to support the maintenance and effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Maintaining and developing the company quality systems, records, logs and databases as required
- Providing input into strategies for continual improvement and actively contribute to their implementation.
- Check subject access request documentation before being sent to patient (and review copy of notes).
- Training staff on CRGH bespoke Quality Management System/Q-Pulse and quality and compliance issues.
- Ability to work effectively and independently and escalate problems in the capacity of Quality and Compliance Assistant
- Represent CRGH in a positive way at all times with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Other duties, as required.
Candidate requirements (essential):
- Experience in working with a Quality Management System
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, teams.
- Confident personality with highly developed interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
Candidate requirements (desirable):
- BSc in a relevant discipline, with relevant experience in a life science environment.
- Experience in working with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) / policy documentation
- Experience working to ISO 9001 standards • Experience working in the fertility sector.
