An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Private Client Lawyer to join a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm based in Nottingham. This is a pivotal role within a forward-thinking legal practice that places great emphasis on client service, innovation, and internal progression.
You’ll be dealing with a wide range of private client matters, with a strong focus on wills, probate, estate planning, powers of attorney, and trusts. This is more than just a job — it’s a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career within a modern, supportive, and ambitious firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting and advising on wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and inheritance tax planning
- Administering estates and managing probate applications from start to finish
- Providing clear, compassionate advice to a wide range of clients
- Working closely with senior solicitors and partners on complex estate and trust matters
- Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Helping develop and nurture client relationships and business development initiatives
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive (2+ years PQE preferred, but all levels considered)
- Strong understanding of wills, probate, trusts and general private client work
- Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and meet deadlines
- Personable and professional communicator with a client-first approach
- Desire to grow within the firm and take advantage of clear and rapid progression routes
- Salary: £40,000 – £52,000 depending on experience
