Responsibilities:
- Developingelectricaldesignsfromfeasibilitythroughtodetaileddesign
- DesigningLVdistribution,switchgear,standbygeneration,UPS,lighting,smallpower,earthing&firealarmsystems
- Producingcalculations,specifications,reports,drawings&tenderdocumentation
- Coordinatingdesignswithmechanical,architectural&structuraldisciplines
- Reviewingcontractorproposals,technicalsubmissions&value-engineeringoptions
- Supportingprojectsthroughconstruction,commissioning&handover
Experience:
- Electricalbuildingservicesdesignexperiencewithinaconsultancyenvironment
- ExperiencedeliveringprojectsthroughmultipleRIBAstages
- StrongknowledgeofUKelectricalstandardsulations
- ExperienceusingelectricalcalculationsoftwaresuchasAmtechorTrimble
- Healthcare,laboratories,datacentresorcritical-estatesexperiencewouldbeadvantageous
- Arelevantelectricalengineeringqualification
- MIET,IEng,CEngorprogresstowardprofessionalregistrationwouldbebeneficial
Thisisabuildingservicesdesignpositionratherthananinstallation,maintenance,SAPorfield-servicerole.
