£38,000 - £45,000 Home-based with some UK travel. I am working with a growing telecoms business looking to bring in an experienced People Partner to support the team through a particularly busy period of BAU activity alongside a number of upcoming people projects.

Whilst this is initially a 6 month FTC, the team are looking for someone who genuinely wants to become part of the business during that time - somebody hands-on, approachable and confident operating in a fast-paced environment where no two weeks will look the same. You will be supported by a really friendly People function and stepping into a broad generalist role with plenty of autonomy.

The role will involve a mix of:

  • Day-to-day HR support and policy guidance
  • Supporting disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and performance processes
  • Supporting redundancy consultation activity
  • Maternity/paternity meetings and employee welfare support
  • Coaching and guiding managers
  • Supporting ongoing people-focused projects
  • Maintaining accurate HR documentation and systems

Telecoms experience isn't essential. What matters more is your ability to build relationships, work proactively and confidently manage a varied HR workload with minimal supervision. To do this we would be looking for you to be CIPD Level 5 qualified and have at least 3 years HR Generalist experience.

In return, you'll be joining a business where you can genuinely make an impact, become embedded within the team and gain exposure to a broad range of operational HR activity in a growing environment.
