The opportunity:
How does working for a hugely established engineering company who are overseeing multiple high profile projects, with huge career opportunity & personal development sound?
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to work on our projects. Someone who can come in, add value but use this as a stepping stone into higher profile roles as we continue to grow. So whether it’s a further qualification you are looking for or more development, we’ve got your back.
Very strong package. So £35k basic, but you can do up to 50 hours (more if needed) which takes you to £45k a year (you get paid your door to door travel time, so that’s all included, 40 hours "on site"). With the additional benefits and future development, it represents a unique opportunity.
The person:
We’re pretty open here in regard to sector and experience - but we’re looking for someone who has a strong mechanical background (water / utility experience would be great!).
You will be using your mechanical expertise to oversee these various and varied projects, with teams of other engineers on site and using your hands on skills - any experience around experience with Penstocks, Motors, Bearings, Winches, Gearboxes, LOLER would be marvelous.
The role:
You will be working on the mechanical side of our projects, ranging in value from a few grand to into the millions. Some will be the whole design and build of sites, some will be maintenance and install projects, it really depends on what the needs are across our range of client needs.
A lot of the work is in the water & utility industry, but we are more than happy to look at various industrial sector knowledge. It’s the right "person" we are looking for.
The company:
We are a 35 year old M&E engineering company who will design sites then have teams of engineers who will install, maintain & commission them. With a £40m turn over and growing, we have a track record of bringing in talent and developing them further - 2 of our Directors were once apprentices once upon a time to give you an idea.
What next:
If this seems like an opportunity that appeals, send your CV through and I will be more than happy to go through this in more detail.
