Permanent Were recruiting for an experienced MEP Designer to join a growing building services consultancy delivering technically varied projects across the commercial, healthcare, education & public sectors. Working alongside mechanical, electrical & sustainability specialists, youll produce coordinated building services designs from initial concept through to detailed design, construction & project handover. The Role
Produce coordinated mechanical, electrical & public health designs.
Develop technical drawings, layouts, schematics & specifications.
Create & maintain 3D building services models using Revit MEP.
Coordinate MEP services with architectural & structural designs.
Carry out design calculations, equipment selection & spatial coordination.
Identify & resolve clashes using BIM coordination software.
Attend design meetings with clients, consultants & project stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations, British Standards & project specifications.
Support junior designers & contribute to consistent design quality.
Requirements
Previous experience within an MEP, building services or multidisciplinary consultancy.
Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP & AutoCAD.
Experience producing coordinated mechanical and/or electrical building services designs.
Understanding of BIM processes, clash detection & design coordination.
Familiarity with Navisworks would be advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple projects & work to agreed deadlines.
Clear communication skills with the confidence to work directly with clients & project teams.
Package
Salary of Β£55,000dependent on experience.
