I am working with a growing telecoms business looking to bring in an experienced People Partner to support the team through a particularly busy period of BAU activity alongside a number of upcoming people projects. Whilst this is initially a 6 month FTC, the team are looking for someone who genuinely wants to become part of the business during that time - somebody hands-on, approachable and confident operating in a fast-paced environment where no two weeks will look the same.
You’ll be supported by a really friendly People function and stepping into a broad generalist role with plenty of autonomy. They need somebody who can quickly build trust with managers, confidently handle employee relations matters and help take pressure off the wider team from day one.
The role will involve a mix of:
- Day-to-day HR support and policy guidance
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and performance processes
- Supporting redundancy consultation activity
- Maternity/paternity meetings and employee welfare support
- Coaching and guiding managers
- Supporting ongoing people-focused projects
- Maintaining accurate HR documentation and systems
Telecoms experience isn’t essential. What matters more is your ability to build relationships, work proactively and confidently manage a varied HR workload with minimal supervision. To do this we would be looking for you to be CIPD Level 5 qualified and have at least 3 years HR Generalist experience.
In return, you’ll be joining a business where you can genuinely make an impact, become embedded within the team and gain exposure to a broad range of operational HR activity in a growing environment.
