We are looking to appoint a Lighting Design Manager to support the delivery of high-quality lighting schemes across commercial, industrial and public sector projects. This is a key role combining technical lighting design, project delivery and client engagement, working closely with consultants, contractors and internal sales teams to deliver compliant and commercially effective lighting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Producing lighting designs using Relux / DIALux and AutoCAD
- Designing compliant lighting schemes in line with BS EN lighting standards
- Understanding and specifying emergency lighting and lighting control systems
- Interpreting consultant specifications and identifying opportunities to value engineer solutions
- Managing lighting projects from concept design through to completion
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal sales teams
- Managing multiple live projects, programmes and delivery timelines
- Handling design variations, technical queries and client expectations throughout delivery
- Maintaining awareness of project budgets, margins and commercial viability
- Presenting lighting designs to clients and stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships across projects
Package:
- Base from £40k - £50k, uncapped commission.
- £30k+ Company car or car allowance.
