As Technical Project Engineer, you will manage engineering design and project execution across low to medium-complexity MV projects. You will produce and review engineering drawings, prepare manufacturing documentation, support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), manage project activity, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered to budget, quality, and schedule. You will also work closely with project deployment teams, manufacturing teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery from design through to final handover.
What you will be doing:
- Managing medium-voltage equipment projects from design through to delivery
- Producing and reviewing engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests with clients
- Working with protection schemes, control circuits, and MV electrical systems
- Coordinating project activity across internal teams
- Monitoring progress against budget, quality, and schedule
- Identifying technical risks and supporting mitigation plans
- Providing technical support during design, manufacturing, and testing phases
What we are looking for:
- Electrical engineering background
- Experience with medium voltage, switchgear, substations, or electrical distribution
- Ability to read, produce, or review engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Understanding of protection schemes, control circuits, or MV systems
- Strong project coordination or project delivery experience
- Comfortable dealing with clients and internal engineering teams
- Experience with FAT, manufacturing documentation, BOMs, or project execution would be highly beneficial
