Overview:

Health, Safety & Environmental – 3 of the most fun jobs all rolled in to one. The true heroes of any organisation, keeping staff safe and quality high. What\’s not to like?

We now have a truly unique opportunity for a SHE Manager to come into a growing, established advanced manufacturing business where you will be in charge of the SHE across the board, influencing each part of the business.

The person:

We are pretty open here in we can look for the proven professional within all things EHS or we can look for an up and coming professional, someone who really wants to make this role their own and develop further.

We also feel that there is room for improvement, so we are very much looking for someone to \”tell us what to do\”, not the other way around. So you will get to manage your own diary and week, very much make the role your own and use your ideas to improve processes across the board.

The role:

To set the scene, we are a high level manufacturing business who manufacture engineered products that will go in some of the best know brands around the world – you\’ll know most of them

With around 190 people on our UK site, we are looking for a EHS Manager who can oversee that aspect across the site.

You will always be getting advice and development from our senior team (where there is a lot of EHS experience), so there will be a lot of support, development and investment for you along the way.

The company and culture:

We are a multinational company and world leaders in what they do / manufacture with sites all over the world.

The product we manufacture go in to some of the world\’s most well-known and leading originations across the world, with real synergy with the automotive sector. Although they are worldwide, the UK part of the business looks after the European markets so it has the feel if a smaller company where you can really get things done, but with the financial backing and brand of a world leader – a very rare combination.

We invest massively heavily in their staff and really believe in further education / further training as we see it will benefit both yourself and their manufacturing processes (which is rare these days).
