Overview CRG | TEC Recruitment is seeking an electrical professional to be trained up to a Chartered level in testing, inspection and certification (TICs) with a focus on becoming an Engineering Surveyor. The role involves training and development with a view to career progression in a world‐leading organisation that prioritises staff development.Responsibilities Test & inspect electrical equipment and systems in service to ensure safe operation and fitness for use.Work across a range of sectors with diverse site environments (manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, airports, etc.).Progressively take on more complex sites as training advances, with salary and responsibility growth over time.Qualifications Fully qualified electrical professional (apprenticeship, level 3, etc.).2391 and 18th Edition would be desirable; a higher qualification such as HNC or above is beneficial.Willingness to undertake further training (e.g., ATEX & COMPEX) and progress toward chartered status in partnership with the IET.What you will be trained for Be trained to become an Engineering Surveyor in TICs (Testing, Inspection & Certification) and to perform testing & inspection of electrical equipment across varied sites.Compensation and benefits Base pay range: £41k – £42k basic & overtime (approx. £8k+) plus £4,250 car allowance / car12% pension, 25 days holiday, world‐class training, and a strong development track recordOpportunity to progress toward chartership through IETAbout the company Working for a certified UK top employer with a reputation for training and staff development; substantial opportunities for career growth and internal progression.Next steps If this opportunity appeals, please apply to discuss further details and your background.
