The Opportunity for you…
Are you currently working on a service desk, and looking to join a company that offers training, development, and progression? Then this is the job for you. Due to contract wins, our client is looking to add to their service desk team.
As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be based in the West Lancs office for an MSP who provide solutions to a range of clients. These have recently won contracts and in turn, needs to grow out their support team. Safe to say they’re heading in the right direction.
The service desk manager strongly encourages the development of his team and is keen for his employees to constantly upskill and in turn be offered promotions – a perfect opportunity for somebody wanting to progress their career.
Ideally, we’d be looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in either a support desk or customer facing role
- Windows Server 11-10 OS & Desktop OS experience
- Active Directory & Azure AD
- Proven experience troubleshooting and diagnostic experience via logs, tickets and reports
- RMM tools
You will be working on a service desk of 11, alongside other engineers, fixing IT issues from external customers to ensure their businesses can run smoothly. You will be working in a busy office environment and will have to be customer focused and able to manage customer expectations. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete certifications if you show the willing to study!
If you’ve had hands on experience in service desk environment, then this could be the opportunity for you. We’re after someone who has experience working in this environment and can come and hit the ground running. As well as this, it is important that you have the right attitude and are willing to learn whatever you don’t know.
