Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician but have had enough of shift working? Maybe you've done shifts for long enough and want to be on dayshift, or maybe you have a young family and just want to be at home on the evenings and weekends. If so, this dayshift role could be for you. I’m working with a large manufacturing company in Cramlington who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician. As part of the maintenance team you will undertake planned, preventive and reactive maintenance activities on equipment, tools and facilities across the whole site. What you’ll be doing: · Completing planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities · Continuing to develop the planned preventative maintenance procedures emphasising on breakdown prevention · The installation and/or modifying of equipment as required · Conducting a root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement effective reoccurrence prevention plans using resource available · Working as part of the maintenance team ensuring good communication skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors and manufacturers as required · Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers · Using the PC for accessing information, emails and completing reports · Training and mentor apprentices Shifts: This is a dayshift role working a 9 day fortnight as below: Week 1 – Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Fri 7am to 1pm Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and off Friday Who we are looking for: · Time served electrician, with experience in a high volume manufacturing environment · Possess excellent communication skills and have an electrical background with a good working knowledge of PLCs. · 17th or 18th Edition preferred but not essential. · Good organisational skills, being self-motivated and have a hands on approach to problem solving with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team is essential.
