The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships and is looking for the challenge of opening up a new sales channel for our client.
Our client is a growing business currently operating 90% of their business in the B2C market but looking for someone to come on board and develop their B2B offering. Our client designs and delivers practical, high-quality home improvement solutions that enhance comfort, safety, and everyday independence. If you’re someone who wants the challenge of building out a B2B marketing offering for our client with the backing of the business including marketing and the owner, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across target markets
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Delivering compelling presentations and proposals
- Negotiating and closing new business deals
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Tracking performance, forecasting revenue, and reporting on activity
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Business Development / Sales / New Business role within the home improvement or specialist equipment sector, ideally involving accessibility-focused products and solutions.
- Experience in the public sector with regards to procurement frameworks
- A strong track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation ability
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
