We are supporting a large, complex organisation undergoing a major digital transformation programme, centred around the implementation of a new enterprise-wide platform. As part of their programme, we are seeking a Solutions Architect – Integration to play a pivotal role in designing and delivering the data architecture, integration capability and reporting infrastructure required to support a modern, connected digital ecosystem. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for ensuring that data platforms, integration services and system interfaces are robust, scalable and aligned with long-term digital strategy.
The Role
You will lead the design, development and optimisation of the organisation’s data warehouse, reporting infrastructure and system integrations, ensuring seamless interoperability between clinical and operational systems. Working closely with digital leadership, architects, engineering teams and stakeholders across the organisation, you will help shape integration standards, oversee interface development and ensure digital platforms support safe, reliable service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and development of enterprise data warehouse and integration solutions
- Defining technical standards, architecture patterns and integration strategies
- Ensuring secure and reliable interoperability between multiple digital systems
- Overseeing change control, configuration management, upgrades and interface testing
- Providing technical leadership across complex digital and data programmes
- Managing and developing technical teams responsible for integration and data development
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver high-quality digital solutions
- Supporting the evolution of a future‑ready digital architecture that enables advanced reporting and data-driven decision making
Significant experience in systems integration and interface development
Strong knowledge of enterprise data architectures and data warehouse design
Experience integrating complex operational and administrative systems
Proven experience managing technical or development teams
Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
Knowledge of software development lifecycles, release management and testing practices
Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and deliver scalable solutions
Experience working in large, complex digital environments
Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL
Experience delivering integration solutions within highly regulated sectors
