We are seeking a System Production Operative to join our growing production team at our Cambridge facility.
You will play a key part in the assembly, testing, and quality assurance of advanced RF and electronic systems that underpin our mission-critical products. This is a hands‑on, technical role that demands precision, curiosity, and pride in producing equipment that meets the highest engineering standards.
No formal degree is required — we value practical experience, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assembly: Assemble electronic components, sub‑assemblies, and final systems according to detailed engineering drawings, build notes, and work instructions.
- Quality Control: Conduct in‑process and final inspection in line with standard and QMS
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, improve yield, and reduce rework; provide feedback to production management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate production and test records, updating logs and databases as required.
- Health & Safety: Follow ESD handling procedures and all site safety protocols to ensure a safe, compliant working environment.
Experience and qualifications required
- Hands‑on experience in production, manufacturing
- Understanding of basic electronic principles and ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and record‑keeping skills.
