Supports the Technical team in the smooth and commercial delivery of the Crew product range to drive profitable sales growth.

This role supports the management of the technical process to ensure that the collections are developed and created to the standards of Crew clothing in terms of fit, performance and construction to business timeline, with the brand essence of the Crew Clothing, and in line with department and business expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for assisting the technical team in the fit process from concept to production.
  • Assist the technical team in managing the on-time delivery of all departments and ensuring at least 98% on-time delivery.
  • Assist in the general administration of the technical team in terms of supplier liaison, filing, sample measuring, sample storage and fit session preparation.
  • Business Goals & Technical Assistance
  • Supports the technical team in the smooth and commercial delivery of the Crew product range to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Supports supplier relationships by communicating team expectations regularly.
  • Supports communication with key stakeholders for any product or process improvements, within the timeline and signed off by the Head of Technical.
  • Supports the technical team in pack set‑up each season.
  • Collate and send samples to DC as directed and when required.
  • Assist with QC inspections as directed and when required.
  • Maintain filing system and general administration.
  • Participate in team and department meetings.
  • Carry out competitor shopping reports and present findings when requested by the Technical Manager.
  • Act as an ambassador for Campus Technical Team Supplier Development.
  • Communicate fit / assessment comments to the suppliers and work closely with suppliers to ensure test reports and other key documents are submitted and reviewed in line with critical path dates.
  • Ensure suppliers understand Crew Technical Standards and Procedures.

Essential Minimum

  • 1to1½ years experience in the same or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy in Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a work schedule whilst meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with suppliers and other department members.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but also motivated and able to work independently.
  • Understanding of the product function and critical path processes.
  • Ability to work with pace and energy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly any quality‑related issues to the Product Development team, Head of Product and Head of Merchandising.
