Purpose of the role: Reporting to the Project Manager this is a business-facing role where you will be given the opportunity to add real value. The IT Business Analyst must be able to demonstrate they are a customer focused individual with the energy, drive and commitment to make it happen. This role will be required to work closely with all departments of the business driving change and efficiencies on the order platform, the order creation and order fulfilment system. This role will be working on business transformation projects, which may affect several areas of the business, and thus, good Organisational Politics, Conflict Management and Interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment to business objective: Champion the customer experience;
- Understand business requirements including documentation of as is / to be scenarios;
- Maintain good documentation of projects and monitor project plans;
- Develop a project communication strategy and keep stakeholders informed of project updates;
- Ensure that colleagues and project stakeholders have a clear view of progress, issues, risks and interdependencies relating to project delivery;
- Assist and support QA, UAT and user training;
- Create process maps and document system interfaces;
- Focus on standardization of business process;
- Understand best practices and technology trends.

- Knowledge of AX or any other ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
Experience:
- Solid background in business enablement through technology;
- Experience with all aspects of IT projects, from design through development, testing, implementation, and PMO support;
- Experience of B2B and/or B2C information management solutions, ideally in a retail / wholesale business;
- Analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements;
- Demonstrated ability to review, consolidate and communicate with all levels within IT and the business.
