This position supports the Head of Marketing and the VM Manager in driving sales and growth through Ben Sherman prime and Ben Sherman and Crew outlet retail estate through effective marketing strategies and in-store visual merchandising. We’re looking for a multi-tasker who has exceptional organisational skills and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. You will also be required to deliver event activations and content plans across Ben Sherman’s Olympic partnerships. Previous experience developing licensed product and sport sponsorships would be beneficial. As we are a small but dynamic team, this role will be required to support across wider brand and retail marketing strategy where necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Crew Clothing - Outlets:
- Work closely with the VM manager to ensure the VM strategy across all Crew Clothing outlet stores is delivered and profitable.
- Partner with creative design to manage the end to end delivery of campaigns across outlet stores – across windows and in store POS, adopting a tiered approach to ensure windows reflect the store profile, across both brands.
- Manage the creative campaign process including allocations, briefing and production with third party suppliers.
- Ownership of all POS and campaign elements for new store openings and refurbishments, as well as creative solutions to elevate branding in stores.
- Collaborate with outlet centre marketing teams to identify any further opportunities to raise brand awareness.
- Build outlet marketing social calendar to ensure maximum visibility of the Crew Promotional calendar.
- Work with Head of Marketing and VM manager to help realise and deliver brand initiatives in store.
- Ownership and delivery of bi-monthly model store guides, fortnightly styling and weekly VM updates – in line with the promotional and marketing calendar – with the support of the VM Assistant.
- Work closely with the VM manager to ensure the VM strategy across all prime and outlet stores is delivered and profitable.
- Partner with creative design to manage the end to end delivery of campaigns across prime and outlet stores – across windows and in store POS, adopting a tiered approach to ensure windows reflect the store profile, across both brands.
- Manage the creative campaign process including allocations, briefing and production with third party suppliers.
- Working closely with the VM manager to deliver ad hoc POS requests and creative campaigns to meet the needs of the business to deliver an enhanced customer experience in store.
- Ownership of all POS and campaign elements for new store openings and refurbishments, as well as creative solutions to elevate branding in stores.
- Partner with the VM manager and key stakeholders to manage the VM calendar in line with the Central Ben Sherman marketing plan.
- Ownership and delivery of seasonal model store guides (4x a year), fortnightly styling and windows updates – in line with the promotional and marketing calendar.
- Lead the implementation and project management of Ben Sherman’s Team GB Sponsorship.
- Liaise with UK PR Teams to ensure amplification of Paris Olympics.
- Lead the launch of Coal Drop Yard Pop-up and continued activation plan in the lead up to and during Paris Olympics.
- Looking at opportunities within the event and Olympic calendar, and how these can be leveraged and plugged into national and localised marketing campaigns to add additional value.
- Build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure collaboration, trust and value are top of mind across all partnerships.
- Plan and deliver brand marketing activations for the Winter Olympics.
- Plan and implement the prime new store opening strategy ensuring a 12 month plan to build brand awareness and drive sales to store.
- Act as direct liaison with stores, continuously building relationships with the teams.
- Responsible for the production and coordination of the marketing campaign assets ensuring it is on brand, delivered on schedule and to budget. Writing creative briefs, liaising with printers, chasing & proofing creative, supporting with copy writing and maintaining the campaign scheduling document.
- Collaborate with all store teams and centre marketing teams to identify any further opportunities to raise brand awareness.
- Build social calendars which are circulated to all centres to ensure maximum visibility of the Ben’s Promotional calendar.
Skills and experience:
- Proven track record of driving sales through excellent visual presentations and strong commercial awareness.
- A strong creative ability.
- A good understanding of Crew Clothing and Ben Sherman brands.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong organisational skills.
- Project and time management experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, mainly InDesign.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in the field and a strong communicator who possesses the ability to build sound relationships with key stakeholders.
