Purpose of the Role
As part of the brand marketing team, you’ll deliver first class written communications across a variety of print and digital touchpoints. Reporting into the Content Editor, you’ll spend most of your day writing engaging and compelling copy, ensuring consistency in the brand’s communications at all times. This is a key role with full responsibility for product descriptions and the brand’s social media channels, directly contributing to growth by building relationships with influencers and the community.
You’ll have an impeccable command of the English language with natural creative flair, a meticulous eye for detail and a fresh way of thinking. If you love writing and you’re the kind of person that checks Instagram as soon as you wake up, this is the job for you.
Responsibilities
- Researching, writing and proofing inspiring copy that brings campaigns to life, including but not limited to crewclothing.com web pages, emails, in-store point of sale and print publications.
- Liaising closely with the buying and e-commerce teams to write inspiring, informative and accurate product copy across all categories and managing the sign off process.
- Ownership over the brand’s blog ‘Crew Life’, writing regular SEO-optimised editorial features and managing their delivery with the creative and e-commerce teams.
- Writing the seasonal in-store training packs, spotlighting interesting product selling points and outfitting advice.
- Acting as a guardian for the Crew tone of voice, adhering to the style guide at all times and contributing to it to enhance the brand’s language.
- Proofing all marketing collateral including checking offer copy, product codes and prices.
- Supporting with the execution of influencer seeding, liaising with bloggers and the external PR team to send and package product.
- Assisting with new store openings and individual store events.
- Assisting with internal communications when necessary.
