A leading global financial services organisation with a long-established presence across international markets is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure Operations team. The business operates in a highly regulated environment, supporting mission-critical platforms used by millions of customers worldwide. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Windows-focused engineer who enjoys operational work, security hardening, and working within enterprise-scale infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and administering Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
- Managing Active Directory, GPOs, DNS and authentication services
- Supporting patching and vulnerability remediation activities
- Monitoring infrastructure health, responding to incidents and alerts
- Supporting virtualised platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Assisting with Citrix, backup and recovery platforms (e.g. Veeam)
- Contributing to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and improvement projects
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience in a Windows Infrastructure / Systems Administration role
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience
- Exposure to patch management and security remediation
- Experience supporting virtualised environments
- Comfortable working in structured, enterprise environments
Nice to have:
- Citrix (Virtual Apps & Desktops / NetScaler)
- Backup & DR solutions
- ITIL-based operations experience
