Job Description
A room attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are clean, tidy, and inviting for guests. They are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all rooms are cleaned and ready for guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change linens and towels
- Vacuum and dust guest rooms
- Restock guest room supplies
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Assist guests with any requests or needs
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
