We are currently recruiting on behalf of a client, a growing advertising agency specialising in digital advertising, from client onboarding and campaign management to creative coordination, reporting, platform management and client delivery. They are now looking to hire the below position as part of their continued growth.
Job Summary
The Marketing Development Manager is responsible for developing and delivering marketing and growth strategies for the agency's SME clients, and for supporting the agency's own business development. The role combines hands-on marketing execution (paid media, content, data and conversion optimisation) with client relationship management, ensuring campaigns are delivered with clear scope and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage marketing and growth strategies for SME clients across services such as paid media, content, website/funnel optimisation, and tracking & reporting.
- Plan and oversee digital marketing campaigns (e.g. paid media, SEO/SEM, email and content marketing) to generate qualified demand for clients.
- Oversee conversion tracking, analytics and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) work to improve client campaign performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for campaign updates, reporting and results.
- Identify new market opportunities, industry trends and competitor activity to inform client strategy and support new business development.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure campaigns deliver a strong, measurable return on investment.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics (KPIs, ROI, conversion rates) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams (paid media, data, content) to ensure consistent quality and smooth handover of client work.
- Support new business development, including proposals, pitches and onboarding of new SME clients.
- Contribute to the development of the agency's own brand positioning, messaging and marketing materials.
