POSITION: Accounting Officer

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a London based Accountancy Services Provider, who is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join their team.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that a portfolio of client companies operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering finance-related obligations, statutory filings and corporate governance requirements accurately and on time, in accordance with each client's service agreement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver agreed service lines (bookkeeping, RTI, VAT and related filings) for a portfolio of client companies, to the service levels set out in their service agreements.
Support client governance: coordinating director/trustee sign-off, maintaining board minutes and statutory records, and keeping Companies House filings accurate and up to date.
Act as day-to-day liaison between the client company, our internal compliance and finance teams, and external auditors or lawyers.
Support periodic KYC/AML review updates for client companies and escalate anomalies promptly through internal procedures.
