We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

  • Support medical administrative tasks, including managing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with basic life support when necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance the patient experience.
  • Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within clinical environments, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous education to stay updated on best practices in patient care.

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding and EHR systems for effective patient management.
  • Ability to perform vital signs checks and assist with medication administration.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers.
  • Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical practices, internal medicine, PICU, OR experience is a plus.
