Quantity Surveyor (or experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor) – About the role:

As Quantity Surveyor (or experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor), you will work as part of the Commercial team and responsible for up to 2 new build housing developments in the greater Bristol region, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset.

Quantity Surveyor (or experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor) – About you:
- Have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying / a related degree (desirable not essential)
- Preferably 3+ years’ experience working in the housing industry
- Experience working for a regional or national housing developer
- Be proficient with using Excel
- Have effective organisation & time management skills
- Have excellent negotiating skills
- Methodical, conscientious, and organised, works to deliver high standards
- Ability to generate professional correspondence unaided
- Articulate, clear and credible, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work on own initiative
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Self–disciplined, with demonstrably good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities
- Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently and accurately
- Team player, and supportive of colleagues
- Professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers
