Company Overview: Brand new region. Our client is a multiple award winning and leading social housebuilding and construction company specialising in new build development; and for social and affordable housing. They are committed to providing quality housing solutions and making a positive impact in the community. This will be one of the first hires for them in the Bristol, South West region.

About you/experience:
- Currently in an active Land Buyer / Land Manager role with a robust and demonstrable track record of acquiring land
- Experience working for a residential developer, main contractor or housing association
- Extensive knowledge of the Bristol and South West region
- A relevant construction qualification or proven experience in land acquisition, procurement and management.
- Understanding of the planning system & process and its impact on land acquisition & deal structure
- Able to work well as part of a team but also independently when required
- Good financial acumen, commercially aware and a sound understanding of development
- A good communicator with a driven personality who gets things done
- A self-starter, motivated to succeed and to make a positive impact on a growing business
- An understanding of ‘Partnership’ housing an advantage
