Sales and Market Researcher – Job purpose:
The Sales and Market Researcher role is key within the New Business and Sales and Marketing departments. Reporting to the Head of Land and New Business, this role will be responsible for assessing new opportunities for the New Business Teams to support the purchase of land, package transactions and S106 properties as well as providing continued support to the sales team to support the onward selling of properties through market insight and analysis. Our Sales and Market Researcher should support our strategy to deliver homes that enable our customers to thrive.
Sales and Market Researcher – About you:
- Previous experience within the housing market and pricing homes ideally in new homes, land acquisition or market research.
- Experience of working in the new homes and sales industry, with a good professional network.
- Ability to review competitor planning applications.
- Experience of preparing and presenting market research (reviews of areas showing competitor/planning activity).
- Awareness of political influences impacting on future development.
- Basic understanding of the planning process (i.e. reviewing local plans/allocations) and land buying process.
- Experience in report writing and providing data analysis.
- Analytical skills – ability to interpret large amounts of data.
- Flexible approach to work, with the ability to deliver results in a target driven area of the business.
- Excellent knowledge of statistical and house price monitoring databases.
- Experience working with web analytics, business research tools and MS Office.
- A flexible working attitude with time, travel and demonstrated reliability.
