Document Controller/Senior Document Controller – About you:
We are looking for an experienced document controller with knowledge of contract documentation, environmental legislation and issues, risk management and life cycle cost. To be successful in this role you will have a keen eye for detail with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Previous experience working in the construction industry in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

A great opportunity for a Document Controller to join the Bristol (South West) region working on housing developments in and across Bristol. The primary focus of the role will be to hold responsibility for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of all site/project related documents.
Document Controller/Senior Document Controller – Responsibilities include:
- Maintain up to date records of all information and ensure that it is available to the team
- Issue and distribute controlled copies of information ensuring compliance with all aspects of the design management procedures
- Check information on drawings for conformance with status and format agreed
- Liaise with designers and specialist suppliers on queries regarding issues of information
- Provide training to participants, designers and specialist suppliers on the project on how to use the drawing management system
- Troubleshoot any problems to do with the drawing management system and peripherals
- Provide advice and feedback on procedures of issue and methods in accessing / using the systems
- Use document management and other management/collaboration tools as necessary to meet project requirements
