We are seeking a confident and proactive Technical Manager/Project Support professional for a 12-to-20-week secondment/placement to support a live construction-related project in the South Midlands. Working for a 5* residential developer, this role requires strong construction, customer care and technical knowledge, and is suitable for someone who enjoys working with customers and stakeholders and is comfortable operating in both office and site environments. The role requires face-to-face and telephone interaction with customers.
About the role:
You will play a key role in supporting the project management and customer engagement around a legacy construction issue.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting project management activities across office and site locations
- Regular face-to-face engagement with customers, including individual homeowners
- Managing customer communication and helping to rebuild trust and confidence
- Working closely with internal teams including Legal and PR
- Coordinating communication, updates, and stakeholder information
- Assisting with planning, organisation, and tracking of project activities

- Background or experience in build/construction and technical disciplines
- Strong customer-facing experience, confident meeting and communicating with residents
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Confident communicator with a calm, professional approach
- Able to work collaboratively across teams and independently when required
