We are looking for a Finance Systems Trainee – Anaplan to design, develop, test, and maintain Anaplan models to meet business requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across various departments, and the ability to translate complex business needs into efficient Anaplan solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Design and Development: Creating and building Anaplan models based on detailed business requirements, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and adherence to best practices. This includes configuring lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Gathering requirements and translating them into effective Anaplan solutions.
  • Testing and Debugging: Performing unit and integration testing, as well as troubleshooting and debugging Anaplan applications to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • User Support and Training: Providing training and support to end-users to enable them to effectively utilise Anaplan models and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying current with Anaplan best practices, industry trends, and platform updates to drive ongoing model optimization and efficiency.
  • Issue Resolution: Identifying and promptly resolving any issues or discrepancies within Anaplan models.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Mathematical or Finance Degree (2:1)
  • A strong understanding of business processes, particularly in financial planning.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines
