Crest Nicholson are currently looking for an Estate Manager to join the business on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract.

As an Estate manager you will manage compliance, risk and customer experience across an assigned portion of the RMC portfolio, ensuring fire and health & safety obligations are met, service charge accounts are accurate and transparent, and residents receive a well-managed journey through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own fire and health & safety compliance across assigned sites, including on HRBs, ensuring statutory obligations and building safety requirements are met.
  • Oversee service charge account accuracy, budgeting and reconciliation across assigned sites.
  • Manage the resident customer journey through the handover process, acting as an escalation point for resident queries.

Support the retendering of poorly performing managing agents, including drafting specifications, evaluating tenders and managing mobilisation.

  • Work with Technical Managers to ensure compliance and service charge matters are resolved ahead of handover milestones.
  • Report compliance and risk status regularly to the Director of Property Portfolio escalating material issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential property/estate management, including fire and health & safety compliance.
  • Working knowledge of service charge accounting and RICS Service Charge Residential Management Code.
  • Experience managing agent performance and/or leading retender processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and resident-facing communication skills.
  • IRPM/RICS qualification (or working towards) desirable.
