Arnos Manor Hotel is a beautifully unique 73 bedroom hotel with a bustling bar, restaurant and adaptable meeting and event space for 200, all within a listed building. Being built in the 17th century, Arnos Manor has retained many of its original features and charming character.
We are passionate about keeping our properties in great shape for our guests, and we would like to have a Hotel Refurbishment Technician that shares this passion. The role is integral to the planned refurbishment to elevate a beautiful, listed building with a commitment to sustainability and solar energy.
The Hotel Refurbishment Technician will have a passion and commitment to quality and project delivery, taking ownership of their role with a positive focused attitude. The successful candidate needs to have demonstrable experience in tiling and the ability to plan and run projects. You will ensure that all legislation is adhered to and compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
Job Overview: To carry out high-quality wall and floor tiling works across guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, with a key focus on bathroom refurbishment projects. The role will work in partnership with our plumbing specialist on delivering the refurbishment of all hotel bathrooms, supporting the hotel in maintaining exceptional presentation, safety, and guest standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial or hospitality tiling works.
- Experience completing bathroom refurbishment projects.
- Good knowledge of waterproofing and preparation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours to support hotel operations.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Wall & Floor Tiling preferred.
- CSCS card desirable.
