Process Control / SCADA Engineers working with a well-established industrial automation and process control business on the Wirral who are looking to strengthen their software team with two hires:

  • A Mid-Level Process Control / SCADA Engineer
  • A Senior Process Control / Software Engineer

The business delivers PLC, SCADA and fully integrated process control systems into industrial and manufacturing environments. Projects range from concept and specification through to commissioning and aftercare. This is not a maintenance-only role. Engineers are involved across the full project lifecycle.

The Work

  • PLC programming (Siemens and/or Rockwell)
  • SCADA development (WinCC 7, WinCC Unified, GE iFIX)
  • Process control logic design and integration
  • SQL database integration
  • Scripting for SCADA applications (JavaScript / VBScript)
  • FAT, SAT and site commissioning
  • Client interaction and technical ownership
  • Integration of virtual machines, servers and industrial networks
