I'm recruiting for a British engineering company that designs and builds bespoke process systems used by some of the biggest names in food manufacturing.
Their equipment helps produce products supplied to brands and retailers including Greggs, Wagamama, Ginsters and M&S.
This isn't repetitive maintenance on standard production equipment.
Every project is different.
One week you could be commissioning large-scale cooking systems, the next vacuum cooling technology or bespoke process equipment designed specifically for a customer's manufacturing process.
You'll be trusted to install, commission, fault-find and support equipment on customer sites across the UK and internationally, working closely with both customers and the engineering team to make sure every system performs exactly as intended.
- What you'll be doing
- Commissioning bespoke process machinery
- Electrical fault finding and problem solving
- Servicing, upgrades and customer support
- FAT support and pre-delivery testing
- Customer training and final handover
- Working alongside software and project engineers to deliver technically challenging projects
- You'll ideally have
- An electrical engineering background
- Experience commissioning or servicing industrial machinery
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- PLC knowledge (you don't need to be a programmer)
- The flexibility to travel and enjoy customer-facing engineering
