We are hiring for a Service Engineer to join a long-established pharma equipment manufacturer in Liverpool. This company designs and builds complex, bespoke machinery used by pharmaceutical manufacturers and research organisations around the world. This is a stable, well-run business with a high staff retention rate; the average time people stay is over 10 years.
You will be hands-on with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting both in the UK and overseas. When not travelling, you will support builds, wiring, and testing at HQ. Solid mix of field and workshop work with plenty of variety.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £45-50k
- Daily off-site rate: £50/day (or £75 on Sundays, £100 on bank holidays + lieu day)
- Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat, x2 Sundays/Bank Holidays
- 4-day week at HQ (Mon-Thurs when not travelling)
- Hybrid site/office-based with global travel
- Flexible working hours + 1pm Friday finish (when at HQ)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 3-day Christmas shutdown

You will need:
- Background in electrical engineering
