We are working with a systems integrator in West Yorkshire in their search for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. With a reputation spanning over 30 years, the company offers unrivalled job satisfaction using the latest PLC, servo, robotics, and vision systems. Providing a full cradle-to-grave service from concept to commissioning, the company produces small unit machines to complex multi-machine and multi-robot systems.
The role
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of innovative automation solutions for a diverse range of customers. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will work closely with your customers to understand their needs and develop technically complex Mechanical Design solutions from concept to completion.
What experience do I need?
We need experienced people who have conceptual Mechanical Design experience within special-purpose machinery or automation. While the company uses Inventor, they will consider any 3D CAD system.
What are my day-to-day tasks?
- Leading the development and detailing of innovative mechanical designs that meet customer requirements and specifications.
